Security and Maintenance tips
- If an insurance company has requested a safe, always check prior to purchase that your insurance provider agrees with the indicated insurance risk values associated with the safe. Various factors can increase or decrease the insurance risk value.
- After the installation of a Underfloor/Wall safe, leave the safe empty and open for one week to allow any moisture to dry out.
- Avoid installing any safe in an area of high moisture or where there may be a risk of flooding. Corrosion could damage the lock.
- If the Safe become awkward to open, the cost of servicing is usually a third of the cost of opening a jammed safe
- Do not put too much in the Safe. This is a common 'Lock out' problem.
- To comply with your insurers requirements and or recommendations, it is advised and recommended that all free standing safes weighing less than 1000kg be securely anchored when installed into your premises.
